Wewash Laundry Co. Terms and Conditions

 

Wewash Laundry Co. respects your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data: 

 

            Data Collection: We will collect your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. The information will be collected via the website contact form, email, rental agreement, or third-party reservation systems.

            Data Usage: We use your data solely for sending appointment reminders, service, and estimates.

            Data Security: We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.

            Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to ourSMS service. You may request deletion at any time.

            MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan.

            Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies.

            Opt-Out: You can opt out of the SMS list at anytime by texting, emailing, or replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to hello@wewashlaundryco.com or 515-612-7788 or 515-207-7006.After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS to confirm you have unsubscribed and we will remove your number from our list within 24 hours.

            You can send HELP for additional assistance, and you will receive a text including our Phone number, email and website. We are here to help you.

            Non-Sharing Clause: We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Wewash Laundry Co. will not sell, rent, or share the collected mobile numbers.

            Users will receive no daily or weekly promotional, marketing and informational messages. Users will typically receive messages once a week or as needed for appointment reminders and service updates.

 

 

When scheduling services with WeWash Laundry Co., you agree to the following terms and conditions: 

Clothes are machine washable: your items can be washed with water, on a normal washing cycle, and tumble-dried in a dryer.  WeWash DSM is not responsible for damage to any clothing and laundry articles that are not able to go through this washing routine. NOTE: we do not read each clothing tag to see how it is recommended to be washed.

 

Damaged Items: WeWash Laundry Co. cannot assume responsibility for weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or development of small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to washing.

 

WeWash cannot guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics; or against damage to ancillary items such as belts, buttons, beads, ties or zipper pulls. WeWash Laundry Co.'s liability with respect to any damaged items shall not exceed three (3) times our charge for cleaning that garment regardless of brand or condition.

Prior to bagging up your laundry, check all pockets! WeWash is not responsible for items lost in the wash or laundry damaged by something left in your pocket (Chapstick, crayons, markers, pen, lipstick, gum, etc.). We do our best to check pockets but we expect clothing to be sent with no items left in the pockets.

Any damaged items must be reported via email to hello@wewashlaundryco.com and returned to WeWash for inspection within 5 business days.

Contaminated items: We cannot accept items that may pose a risk to the safety of our team and/or the items of other customers cleaned in the same facility. These include items that have been contaminated with:

  • Bodily fluids from a human or pet
  • Excessive pet hair
  • Moisture if the item is still wet or damp
  • Mildew
  • Bedbugs
  • Poison ivy or poison oak oils
  • Hazardous chemical residue

Lost items: Please report lost items via email to hello@wewashlaundryco.com within 5 business days. WeWash will make its best reasonable effort to track the missing article. Any items determined to have been lost by WeWash will be replaced. If we are unable to find a replacement, we will reimburse.  Items will be considered lost 30 days after the initial claim is filed. 

Pick-up/Drop off location: When using our concierge service, WeWash is not responsible for your items before they are picked up or after they are dropped off. A text message from 515-204-8507 is sent when we are en route and once the items are picked up and delivered. It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your items.

Dry Cleaning: Please ensure that there are no dry clean only items in your wash and fold laundry. We cannot take responsibility for any dry clean only items damaged in our wash and fold laundry.

Stains: Please leave us a note with any special instructions, including details pertaining to how the stains originated. Although we will do our best to remove any stains we find, we cannot guarantee all stain removal as some stains will never come out.

Minimum: There is a $43 minimum order fee for laundry pick-up. For customers dropping off there is a $23 minimum order fee.
